The Practice
Studioboxx is an Indian design practice specialising in architecture, urban design & interior design. Founded in 2005, we have offices in Mumbai and Nashik. With a strong emphasis on simple, honest & elegant design, we have designed for projects across most states in India.
Aesthetic Strategy for Infrastructure projects, design and master planning for public-private partnership projects, schools & colleges with sports facilities & hostels, food courts, hospitals, office buildings, Office Fit-outs, villas, home Interior design & retail rollout design are some of our key expertise areas.
We invest in research and understanding when a newer typology is on our drawing board. We believe in simplicity of form and intelligent application of simple and natural materials as against new, trending & fashionable materials. We strongly believe that this process results in timeless designs of places, buildings, objects and spaces which age gracefully and enrich lives of the users.

Partners
Anand Katgaonkar studied architecture from Sir JJ College of Architecture at Mumbai, graduating in 1998. He worked in Nashik before studying urban design from School of Planning and Architecture at Delhi, graduating in 2001. He worked with Frischmann Prabhu at Mumbai before founding StudioBoxx in 2005.
He has been a visiting design faculty at architecture and design schools in Mumbai, Nashik & Goa.
Master planning for public-private partnership projects, design & strategy for large scale infrastructure projects like bridges, pedestrian overbridges and a dedicated cycle track project and industrial as well as educational campus master planning & design are the principal sectors he has handled in the past.

Anogh Kulkarni studied architecture from Sir JJ College of Architecture at Mumbai, graduating in 1998. He worked with Edifice Consultants at Mumbai before joining StudioBoxx in 2008. Design of Medium and Large office fit outs for IT and ITES, Project Management for commercial buildings and small and medium healthcare projects are his key work areas.

Rahul Dabir studied architecture from NDMVPS’s College of Architecture, Nashik, graduating in 1996. He briefly worked in Delhi and Nashik while lecturing at Nashik before founding Studioboxx in 2005. Design of Institutional Campuses, Residential buildings and villas, Hospitals and residential interiors are his key work sectors.
